OVERVIEW
With the first launched Mytech, many parts of the MyTech site are under progression updates, So we need a release note page to let the user know when to expect certain features.
This page is the staging for our long-term release notes and serves the dual purpose of release notes + cutover readiness in the interim.
00 Ideation
By building a mood board and sketching, we are looking for an approach showing our building and construction progression. To display the progress, we decided to show the different stages of building a toy feeling rocket. It shows our progression and makes our connection with the GE culture.
01 Release Notes Component
A dynamic stepper component with the release date is a prominent part of the release note page. It also helps visualize where we are at the launching stage. The slider component at the bottom allows the user to switch the note to different stages.
02 Responsive Setups
According to our Google Analytics, we have 95% of users on Ultra-wide and Desktop. But with the new remote work mode happening around the globe, we have a more significant trend of the user from 4% on mobile and 1% on tablet.
03 Six Stages
We designed six stages for a different release dates. The rocket in the scene gradually builds up as time pass by.
